About Me
Bonjour! I’m Paulyn, founder of Level Up French.
I’m a qualified linguist who studied in La Sorbonne University in Paris and have a BSc in French Linguistics. I have spent over 15 years helping GCSE French students overcome their fears, master grammar and achieve results they never thought possible. Over the years, I’ve worked with students of all abilities, from those who believe they’ll never pass to high-achieving students aiming for the top grades. What I’ve discovered is simple: Success in GCSE French isn’t about being naturally gifted at languages. It’s about having the right strategies, understanding what examiners are looking for, and building confidence step by step. That’s exactly what I help my students do. Every student can improve with the right support.
I believe learning should be structured, encouraging and enjoyable. Rather than memorising endless vocabulary lists, my students learn practical techniques that help them think like successful GCSE candidates.
